I know many of you guys are already playing Windows 7 beta, however I just want to introduce this to other non technical guys.
First of all, let me show you the desktop looking, the beta build version is 7000, I believe it is very near a release version although many existing softwares are not compatable.

Besides the enhancement in UI, there are also some enhancement in Accessories Apps, like Paint and Wordpad. Mainly enhanced with Ribbon design. The new member in Accessories App is Sticky Notes, which is a memo function to remind you all the time.

I believe the development team put many effort in Start Menu, such as you can search the app by its key word, and it will remember your opened file in each apps showed in Start Menu

As this is a public beta version, there is a expiry date / deadline to test this latest OS. The expiry is 1 Aug 2009.
